Ms. Yelena Kiiko

She holds a Master’s degree in Pedagogy and Foreign Language Education and has 24 years of teaching experience. She is an English language teacher at the secondary and high school at Nazarbayev Intellectual School (NIS), accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS). Her professional interests include innovative approaches to English language teaching, the development of students’ analytical and academic writing skills, and the integration of modern educational technologies into teaching practice. Yelena has received awards and professional recognition at the national level in Kazakhstan for her achievements in education and teaching practice. She has experience presenting her teaching and research projects at international conferences and sharing effective practices with educators from different professional contexts. She is particularly interested in connecting educational research with practical classroom application and supporting students’ language development. Beyond her professional work, Yelena has a strong interest in literature and painting.
