Ms. Faria Zahra

She holds an MPhil in Special Education with a major in Intellectual and Developmental Delay (IDD) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy. Her MPhil research, titled “A Study about Teachers’ Views Regarding Issues to Establish Inclusive Education Setup in Schools of Punjab, Pakistan,” explored teachers’ perspectives on inclusive education. She currently works as a Special Needs Counselor at Ghazi Rehabilitation Center, supporting children with diverse educational, developmental, and rehabilitation needs. Her professional interests include inclusive education, autism intervention, intellectual and developmental disabilities, speech and language development, child development, teacher capacity building, and evidence-based educational practices. Faria has received an Award of Excellence in recognition of her professional contribution to the field of special education and rehabilitation. She is passionate about promoting inclusive, accessible, and child-centered educational practices that empower children, families, and educators.
